Our 11-day family African safari tour to Kruger National
Park, Victoria Falls, and Chobe National Park. During this 11-day experience,
guests can expect an abundance of Big 5, wild dog, zebra, giraffe, sable

In Kruger National Park guests will stay at Simbavati River
Lodge located in Timbavati Private Nature Reserve sharing unfenced borders with
the Greater Kruger. The lodge offers Big 5 Safari game drives in open 4X4
vehicles during early morning and evening, during the game drive traverse over
12,000 hectares of the big-5 game country, with lion, leopard, elephant, rhino,
and buffalo as well as other species such as wild dogs, cheetah, kudu, zebra,
warthog, giraffe, and monkey to name a few. Bird viewing is spectacular, with
over 360 recorded species including various eagles, vultures, kingfishers,
woodpeckers, buzzards, herons, egrets, owls, weavers.
Thereafter, we proceed to Cape Town for an overnight direct
flight to Victoria Falls. Upon check-out at Simbavati River Lodge and transfer
to Eastgate Airport – Hoedspruit. Fly to Cape Town, proceed to your hotel near
the airport. Following the next morning to the airport, check-in for your
flight to Victoria Falls. Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver/guide
for a transfer to Victoria Falls Safari Suites. Victoria Falls is one of the
Seven Natural Wonders and it is a renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site on the
border of Zimbabwe and Zambia. During our tour enjoy the Falls and Zambezi
Explorer. You will be transferred to Chobe National Park where you will spend 3
nights at child-friendly lodges (Chobe Game Lodge), enjoy game drives, and the
amazing herds of elephants swimming by the Chobe River.

Victoria Falls Safari Suites:
Ideal for families and small close-knit groups who seek
comfort, privacy, and space, the two and three-bedroom sunset-facing Safari
Suites are set in a natural bush environment on the grounds of Victoria Falls
Safari Lodge on the edge of Zambezi National Park and just 4km (2.5miles) from
the Victoria Falls. Each of the six
split-level Safari Suites is fully air-conditioned, boasting a Master Gallery
Bedroom upstairs that affords a superb vista over unspoiled bushveld and spectacular
African sunsets. The Safari Suites are
all en-suite, with a spacious lounge and a private patio overlooking a small
waterhole that attracts bushbuck, warthog, and a rich variety of birdlife, and
are within walking distance from the restaurants, activities, and facilities of
Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. A second
lounge features a sofa bed, which can sleep one extra person (recommended for
children under 12 years of age).
Chobe Game Lodge:
Counter-balancing the wilderness is restful, air-conditioned,
en-suite lodgings. Graceful high arches, quarry tiled floors, and
barrel-vaulted ceilings create an atmosphere of cool tranquillity. Each of
Chobe Game Lodge's 4 luxury suites has an individual plunge pool set on a
private terrace with breathtaking panoramic views of the endless landscape and

furnished, each room with hand-crafted Rhodesian teak furniture and walls

Itinerary:
Day 1: Welcome to Kruger
National Park
Arrive at Eastgate Airport – Hoedspruit as per your own
arrangement at TBC, you will be met by your guide for a game drive transfer to
Simbavati. Enter Timbavati Gate to the lodge, upon arrival at the lodge.
Check-in at Simbavati River Lodge for 3 nights on a fully inclusive basis.
After a light lunch, we will embark on the first full safari game drive for 3
hours before the game starts the ranger guide will advise guests about the do
and don’ts during the drive. During the game drive, we will traverse over
12,000 hectares of the big-5 game country, with lion, leopard, elephant, rhino,
and buffalo as well as other species such as wild dogs, cheetah, kudu, zebra,
warthog, giraffe, and monkey namely. Bird viewing is spectacular, with over 360
recorded species including various eagles, vultures, kingfishers, woodpeckers,
buzzards, herons, egrets, owls, weavers. Keep your cameras ready for the
elusive leopard who may be hiding in a tree or the roaring lion seeking out its
prey in the bush. Upon our return to the lodge, we are welcomed with a warm
refresh towel. Enjoy dinner and rest for the next early morning safari.
Day 2 & 3: Timbavati Game Reserve
Early morning wake-up call approximately 05:00 am during
summer and 05:30 am in winter seasons. Enjoy rusks, biscuits, coffee, and tea
before we depart for our drive. We will traverse over 12,000 hectares of the
big-5 game country, with lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo as well as
other species such as wild dogs, cheetah, kudu, zebra, warthog, giraffe, and monkey
namely. Bird viewing is spectacular, with over 360 recorded species including
various eagles, vultures, kingfishers, woodpeckers, buzzards, herons, egrets,
owls, weavers. Keep your cameras ready for the elusive leopard who may be
hiding in a tree or the roaring lion seeking out its prey in the bush. Return
to the lodge and we are welcomed with a warm towel for our full breakfast.
Enjoy leisure at the pool. Thereafter we depart for our sunset game drive and
return for dinner.
Day 4: Depart Timbavati Game Reserve – Cape Town Overnight
Early morning wake-up call approximately 05:00 am during
summer and 05:30 am in winter seasons. Enjoy rusks, biscuits, coffee, and tea
before we depart for our drive. After the 3-hour game drive, we return to the
lodge and we are welcomed with a warm towel for our full breakfast. After
refreshing, guests will check out and the ranger will transfer the guests to
Eastgate Airport for your flight to Cape Town. Upon arrival at Cape Town, you
will be met by your driver guide for a transfer to President Hotel. Upon
arrival, check-in for 1 night on a bed and breakfast basis. Rest of the day at
leisure.
Day 5: Depart Cape Town to Victoria Falls
After breakfast, you will be collected by your driver/guide
for an airport transfer. Upon arrival, check-in for your flight to Victoria
Falls, and you will be met by your driver guide to transfer you to Victoria
Falls Safari Suites. Check-in for 3 nights on a fully inclusive basis.
Thereafter, we proceed to MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant (Table d’hôtel Menu) or
Victoria Falls Safari Club exclusive to Club guests for lunch and dinner.
Overnight.
Day 6: Victoria Falls Tour
After breakfast, get ready to do a guided tour of the Falls.
However, before we depart for the Fall Tour visit the edutainment presentations
on the resort for The Life of David Livingstone talk and other topics. Depart
on the tour of the Falls, ensure you have got your passport and camera
plastic-protective covered as it will be a very "rainy" experience.
Explore the Falls with a guide and experience the sight, sound, smell, and
humbling feeling of nature. Guests will be taken past the “Big Tree” for a
photo opportunity, thereafter guests will be guided through the Rainforest
while the guide shares a brief history of the flora, fauna, and wildlife. After
the tour, we proceed for Vulture Culture lunches at MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant
(Table d’hôtel Menu) or Victoria Falls Safari Club exclusive to Club guests.
Then enjoy Sundowner cocktails and canapés, and we proceed to MaKuwa-Kuwa Restaurant
(Table d’hôtel Menu) or Victoria Falls Safari Club exclusive to Club guests for
dinner. Overnight.
Day 7: Victoria Falls - Sunset Cruise & Boma Drum Show
After breakfast, your morning will be at leisure and you can
take a shuttle to the town center (Hourly shuttle). However, visit the
edutainment presentations on the resort for The Life of David Livingstone talk
and other topics. Enjoy afternoon tea and pastries, also an optional 15-minute
head and shoulder or foot massage on the Club viewing deck. Thereafter, we
depart for our Sunset Cruise and after the sunset, we move for our Boma dinner
alongside with drum show. Enjoy the African cuisine with the surrounding forest
and the night skies. After the amazing experience, we return to the lodge. Overnight
rest.
Day 8: Depart Victoria Falls – Welcome to Botswana
After breakfast, check-out, and your driver will collect you
for transfer to Botswana. We will pass through the Immigration formalities,
once we are in the land of Botswana we walk a short distance with our luggage
to change vehicles from coach to an open 4x4 game viewing vehicle. Thereafter,
we pass the formal procedures of Botswana foot and mouth disease control.
Proceed to the lodge and upon arrival, check-in at Chobe Game Lodge for 3 Nights’
on a fully inclusive basis. After lunch, we proceed on an afternoon game drive
during the safari drive an experienced guide will share their knowledge on the
bush signs and tracks in search of the wildlife. This drive will follow the
course of the Chobe River in the chance of encountering herds of elephants and
buffalos. However, the sighting also includes impala and the majestic giraffe,
puku antelope. Return to the Lodge, upon return enjoy dinner. Overnight
Day 9 & 10: Chobe National Park
Early wake-up call for an early morning safari drive and
enjoy rusks, biscuits, coffee, and tea before we depart for our drive. We
depart for our game drive an experienced guide will share their knowledge on
the bush signs and tracks in search of the wildlife. This drive will follow the
course of the Chobe River in the chance of encountering herds of elephants and
buffalos. However, the sighting also includes impala and the majestic giraffe,
puku antelope. Return to the Lodge, breakfast will be served. Thereafter, enjoy
the afternoon at leisure as we relax by the pool or sipping on your drink
appreciating the wilderness. After lunch, we depart for a boat cruise along the
Chobe River. Elephants line the water’s edge, hippos congregate in lagoons,
hundreds of antelope and giraffe make their way to the water, and sightings of
predators along the river banks are common. Return to the Lodge, upon return
enjoy dinner. Overnight
Day 11: Depart Chobe National Park
Early wake-up call for an early morning safari drive and
enjoy rusks, biscuits, coffee, and tea before we depart for our drive. We
depart for our game drive an experienced guide will share their knowledge on
the bush signs and tracks in search of the wildlife. This drive will follow the
course of the Chobe River in a chance of encountering herds of elephants and
buffalos. However, the sighting also includes impala and the majestic giraffe,
puku antelope. Return to the Lodge, breakfast will be served. Thereafter,
check-out, and you will be transferred to Kasane Airport. Upon arrival, check
in for your connecting flight as per your flight arrangement at TBC.

Conservation Fees:
Timbavati Game Reserve:
Timbavati Conservation Levy of R400 per adult per night and
R200 per child under 12 years per night (will be added to invoices for
prepayment, or collected at the lodge directly).
A vehicle entrance fee of R210 is only payable at the
Timbavati Control Gate for all self-drive guests.
Victoria Falls:
