After pick-up depart to Hartbeespoort Dam and visit the
famous Elephant Sanctuary offering elephant interaction and hands-on
educational experience. Upon arrival, proceed through the formalities and the
sanctuary guide will therefore guide guests through. Enjoy an educational tour
providing information and insight into the African elephants. As you continue
through the forest area you will be introduced to the in-house elephants, here
guests are able to touch and interact with these giant beautiful species.
Observe the relationship of the elephant handlers with their elephants, walk
trunk-in-hand, see where their Night Shelters are, and thereafter feed the
elephants. Also within Elephant Sanctuary, there is Monkey Sanctuary, enjoy this
guided tour walking through the natural indigenous forests on elevated wooded
walkways. Monkey feeding has selected times - 12:00pm and 15:00pm.
