Situated in the Cradle area, discover the wonders of the beautiful landscape of the wildlife habitat at Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site on an early morning balloon ride. Straight from your hotel, you will depart for an approximately 30 minutes drive. To kickstart your air-balloon experience, upon arrival enjoy coffee & rucks as the professional crew inflates the flight of the balloon by the open grassland. The guests are then called on-board when the balloon is ready; a briefing will be conducted before takeoff, providing you with the necessary information you need to abide by when on air, the pilot will explain the views beneath you. After landing back the guests will be served with a local brand of champagne on land while the crew packs up the balloon; a minibus will transfer guests to the Clubhouse Pavilion for Full English breakfast and with due to the ceremony an exciting “Citations For Bravery” will be presented.

Hot air balloon safari offers an authentic sighting of Magalies Valley and the surrounding area. While we wait patiently for the experienced crew to inflate the balloon, there will be coffee, tea, biscuits, and muffins served at the departing spot Skeerpoort Country Based in the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site. After the briefing, enjoy an hour of scenic flight, upon landing guests will be transferred in a mini-bus to the country base for champagne breakfast and receive a citation for bravery.

Our driver was on time picking us up from our hotel, we had a very exciting drive to Bill Harrop's actual location for the hot air balloon experience.
