Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive at Skukuza Airport

Upon arrival at Skukuza Airport as per your own arrangements you will be met by your driver/guide to transfer you to the safari lodge. Upon arrival at Rhino Post Safari Lodge, you will be met by the safari lodge representative with welcome drinks from the main bar overlooking the dry river. Thereafter, check-in for 3 nights on a full board basis and enjoy a light lunch at the lounge overlooking the waterhole as we get ready to depart for the evening game drive. A professional guide will brief the guests before departing for the drive, we proceed in our game viewing in the wilderness concession being on the lookout of the African wildlife and big 5 – lion, elephant, rhino, leopard, and buffalo. We make a stop for sundowner drinks and snacks before we continue on our game viewing. We return to the safari lodge for dinner on the deck or in the dining room as we look at the game coming by the waterhole.

Day 2: Kruger National Park

Your Kruger National Park safari will start very early in the morning as this is the best opportunity to see the elusive animals of Kruger Park, most especially the lion and leopard. We start off the day with a hot cup of tea or coffee, fruit, muffins, or biscotti, thereafter we make our way for a 3-hour game drive be on the lookout for the Africa big 5 and other animal species. During the game drive, you will encounter a wide range of wildlife and an abundance of birdlife. We make a stop for tea or coffee before we continue with the drive, upon arrival at the lodge for breakfast. Thereafter, enjoy the rest of the day by the pool or an optional spa treatment overlooking the riverbed. In the evening enjoy a light lunch at the lounge overlooking the waterhole as we get ready to depart for the evening game drive. A professional guide will brief the guests before departing for the drive, we proceed in our game viewing in the wilderness concession being on the lookout of the African wildlife and big 5 – lion, elephant, rhino, leopard, and buffalo. We make a stop for sundowner drinks and snacks before we continue on our game viewing. Day 3: Plains Camp Rhino Walking Safaris

As we enjoy light lunch a guide representative will brief guests about the bushwalk. Thereafter, we depart for sundowners and short game drive and return to the camp for dinner.

Day 4 & 5: Kruger National Park

Early morning walking safari for 3/4-hours with a professional tracker and guide traversing Kruger National Park discovering the hidden species. The guide shares the bush culture by explaining not only the flora and fauna however the medical usage of the plants, local folklore, and the wildlife tracks on the sand. We walk through the bush offering the sense of unrivaled opportunity to become deeply with nature and the alarm calls of Red-billed oxpeckers. During bush walks we will not come close to the animals as to on game drive we have an opportunity to get very close with wild animals. Return to the camp for breakfast and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure by the pool looking over the game over the Timbetene Plain. Thereafter, enjoy light lunch and depart on a game drive then we return to the lodge for boma dinner.

Day 6: Skukuza Airport
