Itinerary:

Day 1: Welcome to Seven Villa Hotel and Spa

Upon arrival at OR Tambo International Airport as per your own arrangements, you will be met by our representative for transfer to the hotel in Sandton surrounding areas. On arrival, check-in at Seven Villa Hotel and Spa for 3 nights on a bed and breakfast basis. Rest of the day at leisure. However, guests can explore Sand City Center. Return to the hotel and refresh for dinner.

Day 2: Day at leisure

Rest of the day at leisure with a side-by-side head and shoulder spa treatment serving a glass of sparkling wine, relax by the spa pool. Optional shopping at Cambanos or night experience at Montecasino.

Day 3: Full Day Soweto and Johannesburg including Apartheid Tour

After breakfast, you will be collected at the hotel by your driver guide for a full-day tour of Soweto and Johannesburg. Our journey begins at Soweto exploring the struggles of the apartheid regime. During this tour, guests will get a taste of the vibrant lifestyle of Soweto and Johannesburg. Visit the Hector Pieterson Museum and Memorial, at this site, a share of apartheid history during the times of the Soweto Uprising in 1976. Processed downwards to Vilakazi Street mostly known for its Nobel-prize winners and the abundance of restaurants as well as entertainment by the locals, visit the Mandela House where he spent his first few nights after his release from prison.

We then proceed to the Apartheid Museum upon arrival guests will be greeted by the seven fundamental values which are presented by the pillars in the first courtyard. The aim of the Apartheid Museum is to create a clear and conscious understanding of how the apartheid policy was adopted back in the 1940s until the time it came to an end in 1994; which led South Africa to become a Democratic country. In the years 1994 and 1996, the South African new government drew up a Constitution that entailed equality amongst all, Human Rights, and Freedom of Expression to name a few; this led South Africa to be labeled as one of the progressive countries in the world. Alongside optional visit at Gold Reef City has since been themed “gold rush” because of the discovery of gold in 1886, this gold was discovered in the 1800s in Johannesburg. The buildings and style try to portray those moments where people around South Africa and the world at large rushed into Johannesburg. We proceed to Maboneng Precinct for dinner (as per your own account), this environment offers the culture, diversity, and art of Johannesburg. A number of young people get equipped with creative skills and engaged with great business opportunities.  This area of Johannesburg is home to art galleries, restaurants, small business markets, and culinary schools.

Day 4: Airport Transfer

After breakfast and check-out, you will be collected at the hotel for a transfer to the airport. Upon arrival, check-in for your International flight departing OR Tambo International Airport as per your arrangements.
