Day-by-Day Itinerary

1

Take a light-aircraft flight from Johannesburg directly to the Singita airstrip, where your guide is waiting. Your glass-walled suite sits on the cliff edge with uninterrupted views of the river below. Your first afternoon drive explores the basalt plains, which are home to some of the largest lion prides in Kruger.

Fly in to the concession
2

Morning drives follow the resident prides as they hunt zebra, wildebeest and buffalo across the open grasslands. The concession is exclusive to Singita guests, so sightings are calm and uncrowded. Afternoons are for the pool, the spa, or a wine-pairing session in the cellar.

Lion prides of the east
3

Join a guided walk along the Lebombo ridge, or try a fly-fishing and kayaking session on the N'wanetsi River in the dry season. Your guide adapts each day to your interests, whether that is birding, photography or tracking. Dinner might be served on the deck, in the boma or as a private bush dinner.

On foot and on the water
4

After the evening game drive, you can spend the night on a raised star bed platform with a deck, bedding and a lantern-lit dinner. Lions roar across the valley and hyena call through the night. Return to the lodge at sunrise for a long breakfast and a slow morning.

Sleep-out under the stars
5

Spend your final full day with a morning drive, an afternoon at the spa or a cooking class with the culinary team. The farewell evening includes sundowners on a rocky outcrop above the river, followed by a tasting menu paired with wines from the lodge cellar.

Leisure and a farewell dinner
6

Enjoy a last sunrise drive and breakfast overlooking the river before your scheduled light-aircraft flight back to Johannesburg.
