Day-by-Day Itinerary
A private driver meets you at the airport and takes you to Ellerman House in Bantry Bay. The house is filled with South African art, from 19th-century landscapes to contemporary works. Enjoy sunset drinks on the terrace overlooking the Atlantic.
Your private guide takes you up Table Mountain, then to the Bo-Kaap, the Zeitz MOCAA museum and the V&A Waterfront. Return to the hotel for an afternoon at the pool. Dinner is in the hotel dining room, which is known for its tasting menus.
Drive Chapman's Peak, visit the Cape of Good Hope and see the penguins at Boulders Beach. Lunch is a seafood feast in a harbour-side restaurant. Return along the False Bay coast through charming fishing villages.
Spend a full day in the Franschhoek and Stellenbosch valleys with a private wine guide. Visit historic estates and modern boutique wineries, with a long lunch at a vineyard restaurant. Return to Ellerman House in the evening.
Enjoy a slow day at the hotel, with time in the spa, a visit to the in-house wine gallery or a walk along the Sea Point Promenade. Optional extras include a Robben Island visit or a scenic flight. Your farewell dinner is served on the terrace.
